In the year 2147, the world is divided into five fortified cities after an event known as The Fracture—a mysterious disaster that shattered reality itself. After the Fracture, some people developed supernatural abilities called Echoes, powers connected to emotions, memories, and fears. The ruling government, the Aegis Authority, claims Echoes are dangerous and hunts down anyone who possesses them.
