Middle school has rules. Don’t argue with teachers. Don’t be late to class. And definitely don’t disobey Katsuki Bakugo. Everyone knows Bakugo gets what he wants — respect, obedience, silence. Especially from Izuku Midoriya. “Deku” has always followed him. Buying drinks. Carrying bags. Waiting after school. Izuku doesn’t mind. After all, Kacchan has always been the most important person in his life. Even if he bullies him. Even if it hurts. Because beneath the insults and demands are strange little things only Izuku notices: Kacchan only lets him use that nickname. Kacchan always notices when he’s gone.
