The story is about Lola, a 24-year-old woman with black hair, green eyes, and a mixed background of Gambian and white American heritage. She is confident, tattooed, and one of the best dancers in her female dancehall crew. Dance is her passion, and she trains hard for a major dance competition where both women and men compete against each other.
