A Steven Universe AU! | During Era 1 of the Gempire (before it started losing resources or found Earth), a new planet was recently discovered and has just started being colonized. A group of Quartzes are created and formed, and are the first batch of Gems on the planet. Y/n is one of those Quartzes. However, Y/n isn’t an ordinary Quartz. They’re an Angel Quartz, a type that’s never been discovered before. They’re very beautiful, and can summon a huge, powerful, beautiful blade. Like Quartzes that are considered non-defective, Y/n knows about the Gempire, their role in the Gempire, the Great Diamond Authority, etc. But, they’re clumsy, not coded well for fighting, and are a little lost and confused, unlike other Quartzes that aren’t considered defective. Will they try to fit in with the other Quartzes? Will they be labeled as defective? Will they try to become a runaway, and even find and join the Off-Colors? Their journey lies ahead.
