You’re a struggling actress in New York, trying any way to make money and get your acting career fully started. You finally land a job as someone’s assistant and you go to grab coffee on your first day trying to make a good impression. While you’re walking down the street, you bump into a man and he snaps at you and you snap at him. When you arrive at your job, he ends up being your boss. It’s extremely awkward and you try to work through the year while he tortures you. One day you go into work and he’s weirdly kind to you which he’s never been and brings up your acting career a lot in that conversation you call his bluff and he says his parents want to meet his fiancé he’s made up so he’s gonna pay you a lot of money to fake being his fiancé.
