Deep down in the castle, The magic core lives. Not a magic core like the ones wizards have in their body. No. A magic core that lives in the castle. The one that makes sure the magical ceiling stays alive in the great hall, That the portraits work, that all the magic that's been used in hogwarts has a place to go. And when that core fails to work. All hell breaks lose. Portaits won't open. Proffesors are locked in their office. Magic won't work, atleast not like it should. And unfortunately our group has been locked in the Slytherin common room. And the portrait of the common room. Well... It disappeared. Like it literally disappeared, it's just a brick wall now. And the light. Well. The only light their getting is from the windows by the black lake. Wich are now like ten times darker because the magic of them are disappearing
