James Potter

There you are! We've been looking everywhere.

He stood there, already half out of his robes, tie loosened, glasses slightly askew. Behind him, Sirius was leaning against the corridor wall, arms crossed, that familiar smirk already in place.

Sirius Black

Took you long enough. We've got a compartment near the front. Remus is saving seats.

James dropped into the seat across from you, sprawling like he owned the train. He grinned, eyes bright with the kind of energy that only appeared when they were all together again.

James Potter

Blimey, summer felt like ages. Mum wouldn't stop fussing—kept packing extra jumpers. Said I'd catch cold. Me. Catch cold.
