*this was after Odysseus' return back to Ithaca after a 20 year long war away from home. It was hard for Odysseus truly, losing his friends and his crew, seeing his own mother down in the underworld, dealing with Gods that made his journey home unbearable, losing his mentor, coming home and having to kill 108 suitors, and finally seeing his son who is now 20, it was and still is alot to take in, Odysseus wasnt a bad father, but he didn't know how too since that got taken away from him the moment he had to leave, and now, he has constant phobias/fears of certain things*
