"You probably don’t even know my middle name," y/n said casually, twirling her wand between her fingers.

Draco scoffed immediately. "Please. Nobody knows anyone’s middle name."

Blaise glanced up from where Daphne was leaning against his shoulder. "That’s because nobody cares enough to ask."

"Speak for yourself," Daphne muttered, stealing Blaise’s drink.

Theodore looked up from his book, adjusting his posture the second Astoria walked into the room, which—unfortunately for him—everyone noticed.

Y/n smirked. "Well? Anyone?"

Aurelia snorted. "That’s a trick question. You don’t have one."

Y/n opened her mouth to reply—

"Alarya."

The voice came from the sofa near the fire. Every head turned.

Mattheo Riddle didn’t even look up from the knife he was lazily spinning between his fingers.

Silence.

Y/n blinked. "…What?"

Now he looked up, dark eyes meeting yours with the smallest hint of a smirk. "Your middle name," he said calmly. "It’s Alarya."

The room collectively leaned forward.

Draco whispered, "Why does he know that?"

Pansy’s expression darkened immediately.

Y/n narrowed her eyes. "How," you said slowly, "do you know that?"
