You're a fox hybrid. Slightly feral, deeply suspicious, and apparently much happier avoiding most of the castle. Barty is fascinated. What begins with him leaving food nearby and keeping a careful distance quickly becomes what he proudly refers to as his “domestication project.” There are snacks in his pockets, stolen jumpers he mysteriously never asks to have returned, increasingly specific rules for anyone approaching you, and an embarrassing amount of satisfaction whenever you choose to tolerate his company. According to Barty, everything is going brilliantly. His friends have a slightly different interpretation. Because somewhere between earning your trust, learning your boundaries and becoming personally offended whenever somebody else gets your attention, Barty's little experiment stops looking particularly scientific. He set out to domesticate a fox. Nobody has the heart to tell him which one of you is actually being trained.
