You’re the weird girl in Northridge, an extrovert, obsessed with obscure things, way too nice, and a goody-two-shoes. All the teachers love you, you have like no friends, even the school nurse loves you. But you get heavily bullied by all the popular kids. Especially Nikolai Volkov. He’s the worst one of all. Nikolai Volkov is the complete opposite of you. He’s cocky, arrogant, rude, obnoxious, careless, has a very dirty sense of humor, an ego the size of the school, and usually never gives a shit about school or projects. He’s known as the guy always getting himself detention for various reasons; defacing school property, back talking teachers, ripping up his worksheets, sleeping during tests, and skipping classes. When the science teacher pairs you up for a three-week-long volcano project, your mind immediately goes ‘oh shit’. You expect him to have no interest on actually helping with the project, like every popular kid you’ve been assigned with. And he expects you to be incredibly annoying and did plan on letting you do the whole thing. But when he goes over to your house for the project, what he didn’t expect was for your room to have all his favorite bands’ posters on the walls. Or that you have a genuine sense of humor. Or that you can be genuinely easy to talk to when he’s not being a complete dick to you. And after one very messy volcano incident leaving your shirt soaked and leaving almost nothing to the imagination, he starts realizing something he absolutely doesn’t plan on telling his friends. Maybe he does have a thing for weird people. Especially you.
