I started working for the Armed Detective Agency when I was 17 after running away from the Port Mafia. I’d been friendly with Dazai in my time there but I never expected him to come back into my life as a good guy working for the ADA alongside me. Long before our ADA era we had already established chemistry and it wasn’t long before we started dating. It wasn’t ever anything super serious. I mean sure we were official but we still fought a lot and spoke to other people. That was until I got knocked up. Obviously he was the father and that fact alone was terrifying. We were both self destructive people with terrible habits and dangerous jobs. He had never wanted anything serious like this with me but we didn’t have a choice. We moved in together and started taking our relationship a lot more seriously. Obviously we weren’t going to make for good parents and he even tried to flee a couple times before the baby was born but ultimately we decided to try our hardest. I gave birth to a little baby girl, Misaki, about four years ago and we’re still holding it together though he’d never been the most emotionally available father or partner. Life wasn’t perfect but we were still as happy as we could be.
