The house was massive, old, and absolutely destroyed. A sectional couch had been shoved against one wall to clear a dance floor in the living room. A wobbly table in the corner held a row of half-empty bottles. Every available surface had a red plastic cup on it. String lights sagged from the ceiling, flickering slightly like the bass might shake them free.
