Former high‑school rivals‑turned‑rookie cops Morton Schmidt and Greg Jenko botch their first arrest and get reassigned to the revived Jump Street unit. Their job: pose as students at their old alma mater to take down a deadly new synthetic drug called HFS. Once the brains and the jock, they find their roles hilariously reversed at school — and as they get drawn back into teenage drama, they must crack the case without blowing their covers or ruining their friendship.
