Born quirkless in one of Tokyo’s roughest districts, they grew up at the bottom of a society that already looks down on the quirkless. Violence, petty crime, and villain activity were part of daily life. Teachers wrote them off. Kids targeted them because they couldn’t fight back. Adults ignored them because “they wouldn’t be a hero anyway.”
