Queens, New York. 2002. Jonathan “Milk” White is an NYPD officer living with his wife, Kerry, and their daughter, Charlie. His quiet life begins unraveling when journalist Loren Bridges starts receiving anonymous letters containing disturbing details about two unsolved murders from 1986. The letters appear to come from someone who knows exactly what happened that night. Suspicion quickly falls on Vincent “Vinnie” Carter, Jonathan’s childhood friend and one of the few people who knows the truth. As Loren investigates the letters and the murders, Jonathan is forced to confront a past he’s spent sixteen years trying to bury.
