Detective Y/N L/N has made a career investigating crimes most departments refuse to acknowledge—the supernatural kind. When a string of suspicious deaths brings her to Mystic Falls, she expects vampires, lies, and a town determined to protect its secrets. She finds all three. But with nearly everyone hiding something and Klaus Mikaelson taking an unwelcome interest in the detective asking questions around his town, solving the murders may be the easy part. In Mystic Falls, innocent is a relative term.
