Y/N Salvatore has spent her life caught between two worlds—human and vampire. As Stefan and Damon’s younger sister, she knows better than most how dangerous the supernatural world can be. When Elena becomes a pawn in Klaus Mikaelson’s plans, Y/N refuses to stand by and let her sister-like best friend be sacrificed. But while trying to save Elena, Y/N comes face-to-face with Elijah Mikaelson, one of the most feared Originals in existence. Elijah expected to find two ordinary humans. Instead, he found Y/N—a mysterious half-breed with fangs, a familiar heartbeat, and something about her that immediately captures his attention. Now Y/N has caught the interest of an Original who was never supposed to notice her. And Elijah Mikaelson doesn’t become fascinated with people without a reason.
