Y/N is a human researcher whose aircraft crashes deep within Pandora, far beyond human-controlled territory and directly into the lands of the Mangkwan Clan. Injured, frightened, and completely unfamiliar with the surrounding jungle, she quickly realizes she is being watched. Her first encounter with Sa’tek, a battle-worn Mangkwan warrior covered in scars and carrying an intimidating presence, should have ended with her death. His people have little reason to trust humans, and Y/N is trespassing on their land. Yet Sa’tek chooses not to kill her. Instead, he reluctantly takes responsibility for getting her out of Mangkwan territory alive. What begins as an uneasy arrangement slowly turns into an unlikely bond as the two spend more time together. Y/N discovers that beneath Sa’tek’s stern, intimidating exterior is a surprisingly patient and protective warrior, while Sa’tek begins questioning everything he has been taught to believe about humans. But their growing connection is dangerous. Y/N is still an outsider, and Sa’tek is a respected warrior of the Mangkwan Clan. If his people discover that he has grown attached to a human, neither of them can predict the consequences.
