The August heat clung to the walls of the cramped dorm room, thick and sticky as old honey. Moving boxes towered in uneven stacks, and the distinct smell of sweat, cheap cologne, and desperation hung in the air.

Alright, that's the last of it. He wiped his forehead with the back of his arm, grinning down at you. Welcome to the bachelor pad. Well, almost. Still waiting on the third one.

Leo was already a few inches taller than you, broad-shouldered from his pre-med grind at the gym, but his face still held that boyish kindness that made everyone trust him instantly.

Should be here any minute. He texted saying he was grabbing food.

The door swung open without a knock.

Strolling in like he owned the place, a greasy fast-food bag in one hand and a six-pack dangling from the other. Miss me?

He was tanned, broad in the shoulders, and his messy blonde hair looked deliberately careless. Hazel eyes swept the room, landing on you. His smile sharpened.
