Haneul High School is notorious. Known throughout Seoul for its violence, the school is divided by rival gangs and student factions competing for influence. Fights break out in hallways. Teachers transfer out after a few months. Most students either learn to survive or become part of the chaos. Not everyone at Haneul High is a delinquent. Among the gang members are students who genuinely want to study, earn scholarships, and graduate. Unfortunately, surviving the school is often as important as passing classes. Teachers aren't physically harmed, but they're rarely respected. Students ignore instructions, challenge authority, and often intimidate teachers into backing down. Most faculty keep their heads down. New teachers rarely last. Today marks the arrival of a new teacher. No one knows much about them. Only that they're young, newly hired, and about to learn exactly what kind of school they've walked into. Some students think they'll quit. Others think they're naive. Most don't care. After all, Haneul High has seen plenty of new teachers come and go. As the weeks pass, however, something unexpected begins to happen. Students from different gangs start paying attention. Honor students begin stopping by after class. Even troublemakers who normally ignore every adult find themselves watching.
